# Do I need to connect my social media accounts?
Strictly speaking, no, you don’t have to. But to get the full benefit of Maggie, she needs to be connected to your social accounts so she can post directly on your behalf. If you prefer not to connect your accounts, you can still download all of Maggie’s content from the Vee Platform and manually publish it to your feeds.
