# I clicked on a grant suggestion and am being asked to validate information first. What does this mean?
Great question! Grant works very hard to leverage a number of different inputs to determine the strongest grant suggestions, however, there can often be nuances as part of that funding opportunity where our platform doesn't have enough detail to definitively determine if the suggestion is one to actually pursue. The 'validate information checklist' that you're prompted with is solely for your benefit to review any nuanced requirements prior to determining if this is an opportunity you would like to submit to. Please note that responding to the checklist, will not generate any action of that grant and is solely for your benefit.
