# Do I need a website to create a Vee profile?

## An active website is required to create a Vee profile.

Yes. To create a profile on Vee, your organization **must have an active website**.

The website allows our system to properly build and verify your profile by gathering publicly available information about your organization. This helps ensure accuracy and a smooth setup experience.

If you don’t currently have a website, we recommend waiting until one is live before creating your Vee profile. Once your website is available, you’ll be able to complete the setup without any issues.
